Hi, I am Kirsten Morell, owner & operator of Trixie’s Trailer.
Trixie’s began as a spark of inspiration that kept me awake at night, a nagging idea that came close to annoying my hubby, it was something I personally wanted in my life, she was a vision…… of a charming gift shop nestled in a quaint country setting but conveniently located in beautiful San Diego. I imagined a place where people could gather, enjoy carefully chosen quality items, and experience concierge-level service, complete with phone-in orders, custom gifts with high-end wrapping and delivery options. I of course also wanted her to be available for private events, specialty classes and so much more. But I digress; So while the hubby was still entertained by my ideas we set out on the journey to find the perfect space. Which led us to a neglected and dilapidated 1957 Yellowstone Camper in Utah. I could see the potential, a hidden gem with a rich history and plenty of character, exactly how I hope people will view me one day. So after giving her the tender loving care she deserved, she began to reclaim her original beauty and charm. Now, Trixie is almost ready for her new life as a unique gift shop, and your favorite place to shop.
The current phase involves selecting the perfect vendors and outfitting the trailer with fixtures to create an inviting and memorable shopping experience. The launch date is right around the corner, so stay in touch.
